Ynyshir is about the whole experience – the food, the gardens and surrounding landscape, and the rooms. The main house has 6 uniquely decorated rooms on the first floor, each with its own style and character, homely and very comfortable. There are also three larger rooms outside in the gardens surrounded by the elements. All rooms have king-size beds and an en-suite with a separate bath and shower. Most rooms offer views over the gardens and Cambrian Mountains.
Our Superior rooms are our entry level rooms, and include Goya, Monet and Vermeer. These rooms have a mix of contemporary and antique furnishings and have modern en-suites. They are the smaller and cosier of the rooms, light and airy, and offer side views over the gardens and mountains.
Our Luxury rooms include Hogarth, Renoir and Matisse. They are the larger rooms at the front of the main house with east facing views of the front gardens and the Cambrian Mountains. They have high ceilings and the morning sunshine streams through the windows as the sun rises.
The Studio is a deluxe ground floor room with views across the gardens through the french windows. It also features a spacious luxury bathroom with a free standing bath and walk in shower and an electric fire for those cosy evenings, as well as a substantial seating area within the room.
Our favourite rooms are our Deluxe rooms – Chagall and Miro and are the very best rooms at Ynyshir. Located on the ground floor in a separate building, they are set within the gardens and have floor to ceiling windows leading out to outdoor seating areas. They are also incredibly cosy when the log burners are lit in the winter.
